Zenon Harley, Developer
Zenon has twenty-five years of computer programming experience. He has worked in numerous languages, on many different platforms. He continues to evolve as a programmer, leader, and manager, and keeps pace with the ever-changing landscape of web development.
Zenon has led teams of developers in a variety of industries including media, health, and social networking. He is technically proficient, but also prides himself on being client-focused. As well as being the Co-Founder of Skythink, Zenon is currently the Team Lead for Mobile Development at the Toronto Star. Prior to his time with The Star, Zenon was Chief Technology Officer for a start-up based in the MaRS Centre in Toronto. He has also worked for the University of Toronto’s School of Medicine and the Ontario Cancer Institute at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Zenon studied Microbiology at the University of Toronto where he was Editor in Chief for two campus newspapers: The Strand and The Newspaper.
Jennifer Gurbin Harley, product manager
As a co-founder of Skythink Solutions, Jennifer has a passion for making data accessible to wide and diverse audiences. During her 7 years as a Project Manager she has honed her skills in communication, organization, and team management. Her background is mainly in the International Economic Development arena where she has worked at a senior level with several donors including The MasterCard Foundation, the United Nations Capital Development Fund, and the United States Agency for International Development. Her largest project ($5 million over 5 years) focused on delivering financial services to underserved youth in Morocco and Egypt. Early results of the project were showcased in an article published in the Enterprise Development and Microfinance journal. She also contributed to the creation of interactive learning products within the economic development industry, such as Understanding Youth and Their Financial Needs.
Jennifer holds a Master's degree in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto.
